Marketplace role
RentAThing is intended to help users discover listings and contact independent providers. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, the marketplace does not own, inspect, supply or guarantee listed items.
Listings and availability
Providers are responsible for accurate descriptions, lawful ownership, pricing, availability, safety information and rental conditions. A listing or enquiry does not itself confirm a booking.
Renter responsibilities
Renters should inspect details, ask questions, follow applicable laws and safety instructions, and agree on payment, deposits, pickup, return, damage and cancellation terms before proceeding.
Prohibited or unsafe items
Do not list illegal, stolen, dangerous or otherwise prohibited items. The site operator should define and enforce a detailed prohibited-items policy.
Disputes and changes
Users should communicate honestly and keep records of agreed terms. These starter terms require legal review and adaptation to your jurisdiction, business model and actual marketplace features before publication.
